3. Auxiliary team — assistant and instrument technician. A well-performed abdominoplasty requires a complete team.
4. Hospital — Level 3 with ICU is the gold standard for abdominoplasty (a major procedure). Hospital stay: generally 1 night.
5. Material and mesh — disposable material, and when there is an associated hernia, the cost of surgical mesh.
6. Compression garment and drains — compression garment, suction drain (when indicated).
7. Included post-operative care — lymphatic drainage, follow-up appointments, control ultrasound, scar care. Check how many sessions/follow-ups are included.

Why an "too cheap" abdominoplasty is concerning

Unlike minor procedures, abdominoplasty is medium/major surgery: it lasts 3 to 5 hours, involves extensive skin dissection, muscle plication, and — when combined with liposuction — aspiration of significant volume. There is a real risk of thrombosis, hematoma, dehiscence, and seroma. Reducing costs by cutting corners on the hospital, board-certified anesthesiologist, or team is trading safety for a discount.
