⠀ Generally, it can be treated with liposuction with great improvement. I personally like to perform lipolaser, where I see greater skin retraction. Brachioplasty is a surgery that, in addition to liposuction, involves the resection of excess skin, being more common in patients who have lost a lot of weight. The procedure requires a lot of care in the post-operative period: the patient may have restrictions on arm movement for a few days.
⠀ I usually recommend the use of elastic compression garments and lymphatic drainage to help reduce swelling. Return to work, if it doesn't require strenuous effort, is possible within a few days. Physical activities and strenuous efforts are generally only permitted after 30 days. 😉
