This expander is periodically inflated with saline solution to gradually increase the tissue until it reaches a size close to the desired. ⠀ 3 - Skin and muscle flaps: In this technique, a part of skin, fat, and muscle is removed from another region of the body (back or abdomen) and transferred to the place where there is a lack of skin for reconstruction, which can be associated with the placement of a silicone implant.
