This is because the reason why this fat forms is still questionable, and the lack of availability of laboratory and genetic tests also hinders the work of specialist doctors. I participated in a scientific article together with Dr. Alexandre Amato @dr.alexandreamato, which resulted in the translation, cultural adaptation, and validation of the symptomatic assessment questionnaire for lipedema. In this work, we concluded that the symptomatic assessment questionnaire for lipedema, translated and culturally adapted to Brazilian Portuguese, is a practical instrument, easy and quick to adapt, and can be used for the Brazilian population.
