The main types of skin cancer are:
Basal Cell Carcinoma (BCC) - accounts for the majority of skin cancers.
Squamous Cell Carcinoma (SCC)
Melanoma.
Melanoma, although less frequent, is the most dangerous. Even a small lesion, if not diagnosed in time, can spread throughout the body (metastasis to lymph nodes, liver, lungs, bones, and even the brain).
What to do to prevent it?
It is important to pay attention to "moles," especially if they become Asymmetric, have irregular Borders, change Color, increase in Diameter, or alter their Evolution. This is the ABCDE, easy to remember.
